The lr.products sincroclean system gives the operator the ability to control the flow of ink and cleaning solution through the closed chamber system under full control. It provides independent regulation for the ink suction return vs. the ink delivery flow, as well as the ink flow variations as required due to the press speed and ink consumption.

Custom configurations can be tailored to remove “dark zones” of ink waste

Sincroclean® controls the flow of ink at each color station through the enclosed chamber doctor blade according to press speed and ink consumption. Sincroclean® uses dual electric pumps for each color station to control the flow and includes a recirculation feature to conserve cleaning solution during the wash up cycles. 

  • The savings in cleaning solutions and compressed air alone can give you a ROI in less than a year.

  • Sincroclean®  reduces air mixing in the ink in the chamber which can cause anilox cell starvation. 

  • Sincroclean®  controls the flow of ink at each individual color station through the enclosed chamber doctor blade according to press speed and ink consumption.

  • It controls the flow of the cleaning solution during the cleaning cycle for cleaning the anilox, enclosed chamber, ink hoses, ink pumps and entire system for the next color change without contamination.

AUTOWASH: Ink Management Option with dual pneumatic pumps

The pumping and washing is based on the use of a reversible pneumatic pump for each printing unit. Pneumatic double-pumping systems have serious regulation problems of the synchronism between pumping and suctioning pumps. This technical solution is simple and extremely efficient and trouble-free operation.
The AUTOWASH provides total integration including all possible options for viscosity, temperature and pH automatic control.

Regulated dual inverted control ink flow to significantly reduce pulsation found in single pump systems

Autowash-sincro is a totally new system that effectively regulates two pneumatic pumps and their synchronization. To date, the regulation of two pneumatic pumps have been too complicated. The difficulty in stabilizing two pneumatic pumps, one in impulsion of ink and the other in suctioning mode is well known. 

  • sensors in the pump membrane enable our system to monitor the actual movement of each pump that is controlled by the software as to how the equipment is behaving all times. In this way, the electronics of the equipment can detect inconsistency of regulation and of course, detect the failure of any pump.

  • constant flow of ink in the doctor blade is maintained because the equipment incorporates an anti-pulse accumulator system, which at the same time, acts as a heat exchanger for cooling the ink.

  • smart control software by using advanced PLC software. We do not use a PC or any windows based program in order to avoid problems with the operating system and future upgrades not compatible with the hardware. We use an industrial based  PLC, that is faster, more robust and reliable.

  • electronic control and software

By programmable PLC SIEMENS S7 and quick high speed input by system interruptions. This gives the viscocheck equipment a much higher precision and accurate measurement. Some competitive equipment which do not use dedicated electronics and are based in simple PLC systems, have a noticeable lack of accuracy. 

  • compact design with no “dark zones to wash” (siphons, traps. ..) and with the proper slope on the piping for having very good drainage, to prevent ink or cleaning solution retention during wash-up. Optional Features for both the Sincroclean and Autowash-sincro

viscocheck (automatic viscosity control) Option:

  • The addition of a viscosity control system; constant viscosity and ink density can be controlled conventional sensors (dropping body principle)  or electronic sensors (Inkspec or Brookfield sensor) are incorporated into our software,


viscocheck pH (automatic pH regulation when using water base inks) Option:

  • The pH control is done by a continuous reading of the pH value. The viscocheck unit has a special sensor (pH sensor) which has been specifically designed for the pH reading of water-based inks. 

Most of the pH sensors have 2 main issues:

  • The sensors require calibration often.

  • When the sensor run “on dry mode” (without ink or water) the sensor is destroyed and the reading isn’t correct any longer.

In order to solve those two issues, Lr.products has been working together with one of the major industry suppliers for those type of sensors. The result is a robust and a printing environment resistant sensor, ready to work in a printing plant, with no calibration problems and failure readings.

The new Lr.pH sensor, has an auto-protection system in order to detect calibration failures. This way, when an alarm is detected by the equipment software, the regulation will turn into manual mode and the operator will be informed that the automatic mode will not come back until a correct sensor calibration will be done. This sensor and the protection algorithm, are (lr.products) patent pending.
